Bulk Orders (wholesale)
Vanilla is grown in a number of countries, but the Malgache beans (bourbon vanilla) are still known as the cream of the crop, and for good reason! Although vanilla pods from different countries such as Mexico, Indonesia or Uganda look quite the same as ours, there is a strong difference in aroma. This is why many companies swear by bourbon vanilla from Madagascar, which still delivers the best taste in the world.
Vanilla is Madagascar’s best employer and around the Vanilla Coast there has been little unemployment for several years in contrast to the rest of the country. Along the coast, everyone in the business has been working in the industry since childhood, which means we can speak of a real vanilla culture! In Antalah, where our warehouses are located, it’s not even easy to find employees as the salaries are very high and competitive. This also applies to other towns in the Vanilla Coast. Our collective picks a good ton of green beans per day during the harvest season. About 5.8 tons are needed to produce one ton of dried top material. For very dry beans even six to seven tons are needed.
Our products are shipped directly from our stock in Madagascar or our depot within the EU. Feel free to contact us for orders over one kilo. We also offer discounts for larger quantities. Bulk orders usually come in 25 kg boxes when shipped from Madagascar and are always transported by air. Shipment is also possible, but there is hardly any demand for this.
Depending on the time of year, we can supply four to six tons per month and we can help you with the export papers if necessary. It is possible to arrange your own transport from Madagascar, but since the process is not that easy and the service is rather poor, it is advisable to arrange the shipment through us if you want to avoid a lot of unnecessary headaches. It is of course also possible to visit us in Antalah and arrange the necessary transport yourself. Feel free to send us an email or give us a call if you are interested in visiting our fields and warehouses.
We do our best to sell our product at local market rates and if possible below it. Our prices including shipping (CIF) and are therefore highly competitive and our procedures are worry-free. If you buy from us for the first time, we always ask you to pay the full amount in advance by bank transfer. Buying on credit is not preferred and is only possible in exceptional circumstances if there is a relationship of mutual trust, a deposit is made and the necessary procedures are followed. We also work with traders, but only through prepayments and without ‘potential stocks’, we only sell what is in stock.
Smaller initiatives such as bakeries, breweries and other small businesses are of course also welcome. Feel free to send us an email explaining your case and we will help you as good as we can to offer you an attractive price.
